Practicing as a psychotherapist, I have been counseling adults and adolescents for over 8 years. I specialize in assisting clients with a wide range of problems including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, neglect, abuse, trauma, body image and substance use/abuse.

Some of the courses I have instructed are, Family Systems and Domestic Violence I and II, and Psychopharmacology, my specialty is:

Process of Psychotherapy I, II, III, a yearlong course for 1st year students that introduces students to the foundational skills in establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship within the framework of the basic concepts, theory and practice of humanistic psychology.

Clinical Practice I, II, III, a yearlong course for 2nd year students where they learn interventions, assessment, treatment planning and how to do case presentations based on their clients at their practicum site.

Twin Rivers Unified School District

Brought on board to create and manage a behavioral counseling and resource center for students and parents of a Title I, culturally diverse middle school. Developed and implemented innovative programs to expose students to greater opportunities and healthy life choices.
